MUSHROOM MASALA


As winter started, mushroom is a sure item in our weekly menu...This week its mushroom masala...an easy and delicious dish..The last week CHILLY MUSHROOM become a great success  in my house..so thought to make mushroom masala this week. This is my all time recipe of mushroom...During early days of cooking, this was a regular one and was appreciated by some of my guest too...My son loves this and becomes sad when its get finished for lunch ( i used to make this in morning and give this with roti  for his school )..so if the quantity is less then i used to avoid taking it and keep for my kid...any way i knw every mom love to do that..:)..so think how tasty it is,,,try this guys...
INGREDIENTS:



MUSHROOM
250 GMS
ONION
2 BIG
GINGER GARLIC PASTE
1 TSP
GREEN CHILLIES
3 NOS
TOMATOES
2 NOS
CORIANDER  PWD
1 ½ TSP
TURMERIC PWD
¼ TSP
RED CHILLY PWD
½ TSP
CHICKEN MASALA
½ TSP
SALT
 TO TASTE
CORIANDER LEAVES
 A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED
OIL
1TBLSP



METHOD:
  • In a non stick pan, heat the oil, add the chopped onion and saute until it gets softend
 



  • Now add the ginger garlic paste , splitted green chillies and saute till the onion becomes light brown.
  • Now add the chopped tomatoes and salt.
  • Once the tomatoes gets smashed fully, add the coriander pwd, turmeric pwd , red chilli pwd and chicken masala to it and saute





  • After few seconds add the mushrooms which are cut into four 
  • Saute well so that the mushrooms gets covered up by the masalas







  • Close the lid and keep the flame low ..Remember no need to add water and the mushroom leaves water...
  • After 4-5 minutes, open the lid and saute the curry again and add the chopped coriander leaves and saute ....

  •  If the consistency is enough switch off the flame.Othewise cook the curry with open lid ..then the water content will reduce..
