Ingredients:

 CHERUPAYAR / MOONG DAAL
 1 CUP
 GINGER
 1 SMALL PIECE
 CORIANDER LEAVES
 1 STEM
 GREEN CHILLIES
 4-5 NOS
 SALT
TO TASTE
 ONION
 1 MED
 SESAME OIL
 TO DRIZZLE

 ASAFETIDA
 1 TSP

Method:

  • Wash the cherupayar , then  in clean water soak over night or 4- 5 hrs together with rice flour

  • Next day, drain the water and keep it aside, grind the cherupayar, ginger, coriander leaves, green chillies, salt and asafetida together into smooth paste

  • Add the drained water if required to make it a desired consistency, so that we can make a thin dosa
  •  Take a ladle full of dough and pour it over a non stick dosa pan, and do it as if making a dosa

  • Spread the finely chopped onion over the dosa and give a slight press over the onion , so that it gets sticked to the dosa

  •

  • Drizzle with sesame oil and flip it to other side

  • Once done, transfer it to other plate and serve with coconut chutney or onion chutney
