AMMINI KOZHUKATTA

I always love these types of simple dishes. As again sunday came, lazy me went to kitchen.Thnk god rice flour was thr.. i love rice flours on sunday morning  :P..can make such easy breakfast or easy snacks with that.First thought to make any type of dosas ..But husband ji demanded his fav peanut chutney as side dish,.But all the roasted peanuts were finished..:(..Then thought to make kozhukatta, and thennnnn the ammini kozhukkata got into my brain...


Ingredients:

Rice flour
1 cup
Water
1 –  1&1/4 cup
Salt
½ tsp
Coconut oil
1 tsp
Mustard seeds
¼ tsp
Grated coconut
¼ cup
1 -2 tblsp
Curry leaves
1 stem




Method:



1. Take flour in a wide bowl.
2. Boil water , add salt to it.Allow it to start bubble.
3  Once done, remove from fire and add slowly to the flour , together mix flour and water with a spoon.






4. The dough must be smooth but not too much.
5. Make small balls from it.






6. In a steamer , cook these balls for 10 minutes.






7. Once cooked, allow it to cool.
8.  In a pan, heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, add curry leaves and red chilles.





9. Then grated coconut and  idlli podi , chk the salt.




10.Mix well and add the steamed balls to it and toss well or mix well.



Tips:
     1.       U can add ghee / sesame oil to the water.
     2.       It will be better to use coconut oil while spluttering the mustard seeds.
     3.       While frying also can add urad dal and chana dal.
     4.    I made little bit big balls, make it little bit smaller!!
