RAWA LADOO

Easiest ladoo to make is rawa ladoo.If any guest is coming and we have to prepare sweets quickly , then this is the best choice.As today is 11-12-13 thought to prepare this sweet .


INGREDIENTS:


SEMOLINA\ SOOJI\ RAWA
1 CUP
MELTED GHEE
¼  CUP
COCONUT -GRATED
½  CUP
SUGAR
¾   CUP
CARDOMOM
3 NOS
WARM   MILK
ABT ¼ CUP


THIS QTY YEILDS UPTO 12-14  MED SIZED LADOOS


METHOD: 

  • In a pan,add 1 tsp of ghee , roast cashewnuts and remove it .

  • In the same pan add the semolina and saute it in a low flame
  • Saute continously until  roasting smell comes out

  • It may take upto 5 minutes
  • Let it cool down
  • In a mixer jar, add the rawa and sugar
  • Grind it to powder
  • Add cardomom and give a pulse again
  • Now transfer this raw mix to a plate 

  • Add the melted ghee, grated coconut and roasted cashew and mix well with your hands
  • Try to make balls of it .

  • If its not becoming , then add little warm milk little by little .Be careful abt it.
  •  Make balls of the rawa mix

  • Rawa ladoo ready!

NB:
  • If you want to keep the ladoo for days, then exclude the coconut and milk
  • Instead of that  use little more ghee..
  • If any health problems are thr and you dont want to use this much ghee.Then reduce the qty of ghee and add more milk.
