Every sunday morning i try only easy breakfast as my son have to go for his vedic classes .Sunday waking up late ( not that much late..:P ) and thinking of breakfast making itself is a heavy duty for me.So now a days i try for instant recipes. Last sunday tried this upma ..This is good for snacks too..
Ingredients:
Method:
1.Wash the avil and keep it in a strainer .
2. In the mixer, coarsely ground cuminseeds, black pepper corns and curry leaves.
3. Heat the non-stick pan, add the peanuts to it and saute until it starts to split.( needs only few minutes )
4.This must be done in medium flame.
5.Once done, transfer the peanuts to a kitchen towel and remove the skin by rubbing .
6.Now heat the oil , add the grounded items and stir for a sec.
7. Add the roasted peanut and stir for 1 min
8.Then add the avil to it together with salt.
9.If req, sprinkle little water to it and switch off the fire.

TIPS:
1. Peanuts
can be substituted with cashew nuts.
2. 1/4
tsp of ghee can be added to flavour the upma.
